On April 25, 2006, NASA’s John C. Stennis Space Center hosted a series of lectures on Apollo Propulsion development. This monograph is a transcript of the event, held as part of the celebration to mark the 40th anniversary of the first rocket engine test conducted at the site then known as the Mississippi Test Facility. On April 23, 1966, engineers tested a cluster of five J-2 engines that powered the second stage of the Saturn V moon rocket.

Driscoll does a wonderful job of getting his point across while expressing and explaining others. But then, the dark side of noir has long attracted those suspicious of a social order where wealth stands as the ordering principle and people lacking that are left to dangle. I couldn't turn pages fast enough to keep up with my need to know what happened next. This "Vigilante Life" certainly doesn't seem likely to get it done.. Bittersweet read though as Steve passed so soon after. He helped draft the White Paper ("the doctrine that public officials, under democracy, were predominantly frauds, and hence did not deserve to be taken seriously") that became the basis for the company's success during the Roaring Twenties. It is clear, engaging and enjoyable.
