A small town guy discovers secrets to his past connecting him to Salem Massachusetts. He learns about who he is, and was - With a lineage of dark family secrets that take him on a strange and mysterious journey. Four hundred years ago, the idea of witches in ones midst, must have been terrifying. But for us today, I think it's the enigma of a witch hunt itself which we find so disturbing. Times when the truth can be the hardest thing of all to divine.

Isenberg also misrepresents Earp's eventual publicity seeking.
"Consumed in his last years with justifying his resort to violence in Arizona, he told and retold stories of his life as a law officer in Tombstone and in the Kansas cow towns of Wichita and Dodge City in the 1870s."
Wyatt Earp was never more than marginally financially stable. Music became his savior and Jones embraced it like the stable motherly love which he sought and he lacked as a child. This book was very fascinating to read. The descriptions never linger, yet paint vivid pictures of the futuristic setting. Everyone keeps accusing me of Botox or a face lift. "This, after all, is MY story, and so I do not apologize for its pervasive subjectivity."
So said Mencken in the preface, and good for him. Professional book with lots of clickable recipes, you can't go wrong with this one..
