I would not recommend this book to anybody who wants to quit smoking.. That better describes Josie, who exerted a ridiculous amount of editorial control over depictions of Wyatt after his death. The book is well-illustrated with vintage b&w and color photographs, maps, diagrams, etc.
While some of the flights in VANISHED have been covered previously, sometime even in book-length form, McLeod's book, which sells for $17.99, offers up a comprehensive, well-illustrated smorgasbord of aviation vanishings sure to interest plane buffs. We're told that the "Jupiter" evolved from the software-based "Pegasus" but the author fails to dig deeper. There's virtually no back-story treatment of any of Ten Tec's venerable "Argonaut" or "Omni" series of transceivers.
