Kathryn Cocquyt resides in Simi Valley, California, where she works with race and show horses. She and began breeding Thoroughbred horses in 1986, with the birth of Rue Royale. Cocquyt is a member of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, and is licensed by the California and Arizona State Racing Commissions. She is also a writer and freelance journalist. Many of the characters in Little Freddie at the Kentucky Derby, including Freddie, live on her farm in Simi Valley, California.
Every move is a puzzle, and false steps are punished by death. The new book is 'updated' along with the illustrations which have lost some of their charm. I like a book to keep me engaged throughout the entire book and while this one did keep my interest, I found myself bored in some parts.
If you've been reading this series, you'll love this next installment and if you are new to this series I suggest starting with the first book so it makes more sense.. (or you can clearly see the holes in the project!). Amazon should really think about that policy.
About the only thing true, in the book, is Wyatt Earp was a real person and he lived in the American West, in the late 19th century. That's an ideal subject for another book, of course. He's smart, but doesn't show it. It makes him seem either like a saintly genius, or a creep. Photos from Steve's last few years are very hard to find and Barbara's photos are beautiful. Ordinary sweating is a common cause of vulvovagi
