Its not an introductory textbook, you need a formal background in physics and mathematics. We cannot afford to forget the horrors, the unspeakable cruelty and misery of that time, and Dawson's writing skills puts the reader right in the middle of it.

And if the book itself doesn't move you to tears more than once, be sure to read the acknowledgements.. Power to the People is the best and most important book on global environmental issues since The Ecology of Commerce. Here, Hall does the topic justice and it is clear he did his homework. Some of the examples in the book blew my mind. Hunley comes up. I was swept away into the story with the characters and completely lost track of time. I highly recommend this book!. I guess I’m a sucker for the typical fantasy trope story, but I’ll get to that in a little bit.
