Charis's spiritual awakening began while she was pursuing her Bachelor of Psychology degree. She received Reiki and shamanistic training throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies emerging with a Masters degree in Health and a Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology. Along the way, she gained unique and varied esoteric experience, which she writes about in Journal of a Starseed. Charis was always a writer - even before she recognized herself as one. Told by her sixth grade teacher that she was meant to write, Charis did not pick up the pen (or in this case, keyboard) again until twenty years later, when the idea of transcribing her experiences literally bothered her to no end until she did. Charis is an author, yoga and meditation teacher, healer, speaker, and holistic consultant. She also serves as a site administrator on the esoteric CosmicYou forum.

I plan to give this to some friends as gifts - might even use it as an added book for my undergrad class.
