Bridgette Mongeon is a master sculptor with over 20 years of experience in figurative sculpture. She writes and often lectures about the arts, technology and marketing in the arts and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in combining 3D Technology and Fine Arts from Goddard College. She is a contributing author of Digital Sculpting with Mudbox: Essential Tools and Techniques for Artists and is the host of the Art and Technology podcasts.
The book is well-illustrated with vintage b&w and color photographs, maps, diagrams, etc.
While some of the flights in VANISHED have been covered previously, sometime even in book-length form, McLeod's book, which sells for $17.99, offers up a comprehensive, well-illustrated smorgasbord of aviation vanishings sure to interest plane buffs. I don't normally read this type of book, but Charis is from my hometown and I went to the same High School as her, so I decided to give it a try.
I really enjoyed reading this book and did not want to put it down once I started. A review is already posted on Amazon.. But the narrative is not without a personal connection. I googled the pastor, Nadia Bolz - Weber, before I chose the book and when I saw her tattoos and muscles, I thought this was going to be a book that was kind of like the churches I sometimes see where they play hard rock music and that kind of thing (not that there's anything wrong with those, it's just what I t
