Fascinating. The autobiography of Quincy Jones is like one of his arrangements: masterful, engaging on several levels, and state-of the-art.
Jones' life story seems MADE for a highly dramatic, award-winning t.v. That said, I think Glynn is really an excellent storyteller, no matter how you feel about his tone or verbal mannerisms (some of which, after all, are probably Australian and therefore a little different-sounding to non-Australian ears). This comprehensive presentation of the psychological development of gay male relationships as they move beyond the initial passionate stages and toward more mature, deeper stages is a revelation to behold. But it's a fun and silly little book that surveys some of the great stache wearers of our time, from obvious ones like Burt Reynolds and Charlie Chaplin to people you might not normally think of, like Dennis Franz. But Ben wanted her to stay. It contains lots of typos and some parts are just images that are not legible. But this one was
